A consumer who concluded a distance contract has, as a rule, 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason (Article 27 of the Consumer Rights Act). If the seller fails to inform the consumer of this right, the period may be extended by up to 12 months.
Template clauses that shape consumer rights contrary to good practice and grossly infringe their interests are not binding on the consumer (Article 385¹ § 1 of the Civil Code). Part of consumer protection also applies to sole traders.
